The Gospel of John

After the first three Gospels were written, John - the one whom Jesus loved - decided to write another telling of the good news of Jesus Christ so that “you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). Through this series, we hope that you will witness Jesus’ divinity, be awed by his love, and be drawn to him.

DANIEL: GOD IS IN CONTROL

Conquered by a foreign power, taken away from their homes, put into a re-education program designed to make them forget their God, their stories, even their names: this is the background of the Book of Daniel. The questions of, Who is in control? Where is our God? How should we now live? are at the forefront of this book. And as the stories tell us, we learn that in spite of present appearances, God is in control.

The Ten Commandments

Lists of “do this… do that”s are often moralistic and make us feel like we are trying to earn something. We may believe this to be true for the Ten Commandments, but in this series we consider how these laws are to be properly followed in light of what God has first done for us. Since we have been brought into the household of God through Jesus Christ, now we are to follow the house rules. Join us as we consider how we are to live in light of the gospel.
